Chamas Brazilian Churrascaria brings the authentic taste of Brazilian barbecue to Indonesia, offering a luxurious churrasco experience led by Chef Josinaldo Patricio De Oliveira, a Brazilian barbecue expert hailing from São Paulo, Brazil.

Since its debut in 2018 at Vasa Hotel Surabaya, Chamas has remained committed to preserving and sharing the authentic flavours of Brazilian barbecue. The restaurant's success has paved the way for expansion, with new locations set to open in Setia Budi, Bali, ensuring that even more guests can indulge in the true essence of churrasco in the Island of the Gods.

Rooted in Brazil’s time-honoured grilling traditions, Chamas offers an immersive rodízio-style dining experience at the heart of Surabaya. With an authentic BBQ grill imported directly from Brazil and a charcoal-fired grill to bring out the smoky depth in each bite, every dish promises an unmatched churrasco experience. Under the expert guidance of Chef Patricio, each cut of meat is expertly prepared, from the renowned picanha and fraldinha to the indulgent tomahawk steak and grilled cinnamon pineapple.

Chef Josinaldo Patricio De Oliveira began his culinary career in 1999, with over 20 years of experience in the art of slow-roasting premium cuts over open flames. His passion for preserving authentic Brazilian techniques, combined with a modern touch, ensures an extraordinary dining experience.

A highlight of the experience is the Pasador, dressed in traditional South Brazilian gaucho attire, who serves endless skewered meats directly to your table. Chamas also boasts a curated selection of handcrafted cocktails and fine wines, perfectly complementing the bold and savaoury flavours of churrasco.
